TRAVIS INJURY SHOCK

Injury woes continue for Sheffield United loanee striker Nicky Travis with the news that the player could be out for a couple of months with a knee injury sustained in Chesterfield's recent League game against Macclesfield Town.

The 20 year old is now returning to Bramall Lane after a scan revealed that a cartilage operation is required, which effectively curtails his loan spell due to end on 31 December 2007.

Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson said: "Nicky has been unlucky with injuries and we wish him all the best for the future."
