On the Aldershot postponement Lee said:
"Mixed feelings really if the ground is not playable then it's not playable but we have some momentum with two wins and would have liked to have made it three in three. Ironically the last time we did that involved the same sides."
On the transfer deadline day activity Lee started on the extended loan of Phil Picken to Notts County before concentrating his comments on the arrival of Jared Wilson, the extended stay of Peter Till, and the last minute loan signing of Clayton McDonald.
"I had a chat with Phil after the Exeter game and he indicated that he would prefer to stay at Notts County where he's playing first team football. We can't really guarantee that with the emergence of Dan Gray so we wish him all the best. We have moved to bring some cover with Jared Wilson from Birmingham City. We have had our eye on him for a while and he can play in other positions but is primarily a right back and he will put pressure on Dan Gray. If clubs come in and want players to play first team football who are on the edge of the squad we will assess it and if it suits us we will let it happen"
On the Peter Till loan extension: " Peter showed up well in all the games he played in so far and given the team a bit of a new dimension and I think there's more to come from him."
Clayton McDonald also joined us he's a young centre half and a big lad who caught our eye playing for Manchester City reserves and we are pleased to have got him. He will go straight into the squad that will face Lincoln, weather permitting, due to the suspension of Danny Hall.
We didn't manage to bring another goalkeeper or a central midfielder but we were close on one and we will revisit that next week when the loan window reopens along with a couple of other options who have the right quality."
