Till joins the Spireites

TILL LOAN DEAL CONFIRMED
Confirmation that the loan move to Chesterfield of Grimsby Town midfielder Peter Till has now been finalised and is initially for a one month period.
The 23 year old goes straight into the squad for the Spireites away league game at Chester City this weekend.
Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson said: "The loan move is of mutual benefit as it gives both Peter and ourselves the chance to look a bit more closely at each other."
"He has pace and can play out wide and these are attributes which will be of value to the team."
The former Birmingham City trainee signed a professional contract with the Blues in the summer of 2005 before first joining Grimsby Town in November 2006. He has since made 80 appearances for the Mariners.
NEW DATE FOR ROCHDALE GAME
A new date has been arranged for the recently postponed home league game against Rochdale. The match will now be played at Saltergate on Wednesday 25 March 2009, kick-off 7.30pm.
