Another win at home, blimey that's three this year and it was another victory over Rotherham. We made hard work of it though, a lot of huffing and puffing against a poor side in the Millers whose shining lights are Will Hoskins and Ex-Muppet Show star Lee Williamson, Hoskins got the Millers equaliser in comical Spireites defending AGAIN, “shall I kick it away for you sir? No, no after you claude type of defending which seems to follow us around like a stalker, a mis-hit shot from Woods created an opening for Hoskins who put it away no problem. It's time's like that which leave you frustrated and confused a seemingly obvious thing to do was clear the ball but it still finds it self in the back of our net.
Another worrying point is our goals conceded 10 in four games which by reckoning means we concede an average of 2.5 a match, upfront both our strikers scored which is pleasing with ex-miller Paul Shaw NOT celebrating when he scored instead a cheeky wave at the Spireites in the Compton Street Stand and another goal for the much improved Caleb Folan and long may this continue, I think the standing ovation he received from the Main Stand was testament to his attitude today.

Rotherham Manager Alan Knill, “we never turned up, we gave them two goals and it's really disappointing. I don't think they were good but they had more about them than we did. We were poor and I couldn't think of many individuals who could look at themselves and come away from the game with much credit”.

Roy Mac said on Team Talk.

It was a good local derby but we created more chances than they did and overall it was an excellent performance," said McFarland. "Rotherham worked hard and made us defend for the last 20 minutes but we survived because of our discipline and our work-rate.

"Overall it was an excellent performance and we scored two quality goals”.
