Great Goal Mark Hudson

A point away at Torquay you may ask is not good enough but I beg to differ. If you consider that we only had one fit striker and that we got thrashed in our last game at home and the opponents are fighting for their League One lives then a point is ok.
What is annoying though is that we were 2-1 up with two minutes left, I know that Torquay would have been hard done by if we had of won so maybe a point in the end s fair enough.
Jamie McMaster started upfront with Mark Debolla and they linked up well. The Chief managed to make the bench but quite clearly is not fit so I would expect McMaster and Debolla to start against Huddersfield next week. The Midfield this time showed what they were made of with goals from Derek Niven and Mark Hudson. Gareth Davies played and got booked but I was pleased with his contribution. Defensively Steve Blatherwick is starting to get back to full match fitness and we welcomed back Shane Nicholson who if I could select a player of the season it would be him.

Derek Niven's first for the season.

What was pleasing was the fightback after going a goal down, that shows character and ok we weren't able to hold on in the end what it does show is that we are getting back to our best. What we need to do now is to start winning at home and maybe we can just about sneak into the top half of the table I mean after all the playoffs are out of the question aren't they? Aren't they?
