Two Goal Hero!

What do you mean we won in Bristol? Don’t be daft! 3-2 you say? With two goals from Hudson and one from the Chief yeah right!

Anyway we did and boy was it a great victory. We hadn’t scored in Bristol for over ten years never mind win, but when Mark Hudson scored it banished one fact and when the chief bagged the second it really did start to look funny.

You knew that City would come back and they did with the extra talent of Brooker and they quickly followed it up with an equaliser and we were struggling at that point. We couldn’t get the ball out of our half, Folan had a great chance but put it over the bar.

It was odds on that the Robins would score but a Hudson shot and a horrendous blunder by City keeper Phillips let the ball over the line, cue madness and delirious celebration.

Now Mark Hudson, you could say he played well because the Sky cameras were there or you could call me a conspiracy theorist, but if we don’t see the same passion we will believe what we read and that he is playing for a way out. As far as we know he has still been offered a contract so it remains to be seen whether it will be signed.

If we show the same sort of fight against Hull on Tuesday I’ll know that the Wrexham game was a blip and we shall be back to ourselves again. Remember Hull can go top if they win so we need to help everyone else in this league and the chance to especially help Luton as they did to us last season.
