Neale Mcdermott the trialist who played in our Derbyshire Centenary Cup win over Derby County has pitched up and signed for Gateshead in the Blue Square Premier. Mcdermott didn't play for the "Heed" though he had an ankle knock and missed the 3-0 awakening for the North Eastern side to a Histon side who famously beat Leeds United in the FA Cup last season.
