Standing nicknamed "spongebob" has played against the Spireites home and away for Walsall last season and had very good games in both matches. Standing is 25 and had a trial at Colchester United after being released from Walsall during the summer.
It's thought that Standing will be cover for both Allott and Niven as the Kiss deal....erm kissed goodbye.
Standing was signed by former manager Nicky Law for Bradford back some five years ago after Standing refused a contract from Aston Villa, Standing began his career at Brighton & Hove Albion who received around £1.1 million pounds for Standing and England International Gareth Barry, Standing is the great nephew of Brighton & Hove Albion chairman Dick Dasterdly......sorry Knight.
