Spireites Sign Another Keeper

Glyn Thompson the former Fulham and Northampton Town keeper has signed until the end of the season as cover for Carl Muggleton. Muggleton who is currently injured with a groin strain is out for a further two weeks. With Marton Fulop with the Hungarian U21's the Spireites need cover in the goalkeeping area.
Andy Richmond the current understudy to Muggleton looks again likely to be left on the bench for the remainder of the season, I wonder if he will be around in the Summer.

Another piece of news is that the Spireites and Huddersfield Town have been charged after a brawl between players a week last saturday. The two players who started it were Chris Brandon and Shane Nicholson so why the Football League has chosen to pick on both sides is beyond me.

Also Mark Innes who was released by the Spireites earlier in the week has joined Port Vale until the end of the season.
