Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has praised the raw talents of new signing Dean Morgan. The much-travelled winger was released at the end of last season by MK Dons after he spent the latter half of the campaign on loan at Aldershot, who reached the League Two play-offs with his help. Sheridan admits that Morgan has had a couple of disappointing seasons but feels the 26-year-old will be a handful for any defence in League Two if he can rediscover his best form. "He's pacy, a wide man who has got ability. His career has gone a bit quiet but I've seen him play, three or four years ago, and potentially he's got lots to offer," Sheridan told the Sheffield Star. "It's down to him. I've signed him for a year, I like what I see and I think he'll be good for us. "He takes care of the ball, he's quick and I hope he will score one or two goals for us."
