Roy Queries Low Crowds

From TeamTalk website. Roy say's.

"It's disappointing because by and large our home form has not been that bad this season.

"A couple of performances aside before Christmas, we have played some good football and got some good results. Saturday was the first time we have lost a league game at Saltergate since mid-October and we are still getting attendances of three-nine (3900).

"We got results against Blackpool and Rotherham and had a tremendous game against Crewe in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy recently, but they still aren't coming to support us."

Maybe it's the apathy surrounding the club at the minute, the average Joe is really confused over the Ownership and the New Ground scenario and it seems patience is wearing thin at the moment.

Steve Bruce made a perfect point regarding attendances in reference to his own side Birmingham's poor crowd in the FA Cup against Newcastle, Bruce commented that fans are being priced out and at £25 it's expensive.

Our current structure is for the adult £15 is your cheapest ranging to £25 for an exec ticket. Football prices have gone up more than inflation and it's showing. In the 80's fans were being kept away becuase of violence this time it's a worse kind of disease......money!!
