Squad News: Out of the game is Alex Bailey,Alan O'Hare & Jamie Lowry. Doubtful is Adam Smith who picked up a knock in Wednesday nights defeat to Crewe.

Rotherham still reeling from the loss of their two best players have made two loan signings this week, Toumani Diagouraga from Watford & Ian Henderson from Norwich City both forward players. Still the deal which Rotherham United received is a fantastic one, but it depends on if their chairman has the facility to spend the cash on players or does it get saddled with the CVA payments which they are currently paying out.

United have only won 1 of the last 11 but come Saturday they have had a twelve day rest compared to our two. Rotherham started the season minus ten points due to going into administration but they quickly fought there way back into the Division and at one stage were hovering just underneath the playoffs, however the bad run has set in and Alan Knill will be looking now to turn around the club's fortune, he managed it last season towards the end now it's a second chance for him to have a go and this could make or break a manager. My Money's on Knill being ok, but after Saturday.

We need a pickmeup and quick after Wednesday Nights defeat, performance wise we played ok and at times had Crewe on the backfoot with our wing play, I thought Hall and Smith were superb first half and had acres of space to play.

Midfield we didn't create enough and former Spireite attempted signee Ben Rix dominated in there. Usually our midfield never have two bad games on the trot.

Upfront here lies the problem whats our best combination, personally I think it's Paul Shaw and Caleb Folan but Colin Larkin has been banging on the door and is second top scorer so ideal for the bench. The Chief has really gone now, he didn't have the greatest of games the other night so a place on the bench or even rested altogether will be the option.

In defence Gareth Davies has been playing left back (not his favourite position) but he's keeping Shinner out of the side. Downes and Hazell need to tighten up if they want to keep their places as we are conceding too many sloppy goals and we were quickly out-thought by Crewe towards the end.

Alan Knill was at the game last night, I hope he left when we equalised at 2-2.
