RICHARDSON NAMED AS SPIREITES NEW MANAGER

Chesterfield FC has today announced that caretaker boss Lee Richardson has been appointed the new manager of the club.

Chairman Barrie Hubbard said: "Our requirement is for a young ambitious manager with fresh ideas and new thinking and Lee Richardson matches these credentials. We hope everyone will give him the chance to succeed."

Lee Richardson said: "I am delighted to get this chance to be manager of a club I love and I want the supporters to be aware that we do have ambitions here to take the club forward on an exciting journey into a new stadium and beyond."
