Resign Threat to Supporters

Last updated : 08 January 2006 By Paul Fisher
"If they want me to resign I will, I'm sick of the Supporters behind the Dugout , we don't want them here" were the comments of our leader after yesterday's match as the Peak 107 Taxi Driver tried to interview him.
All throughout yesterday's game the Supporters on the Saltergate End were grumbling, moaning and generally non-supportive of the team. When Caleb Folan came on it was even worse. Even though Folan has not played badly in the two games he won't been seen as anything but rubbish in the eyes of certain members of the crowd. This is very harsh on the lad who tire his best and cetainly gives 100% but he's not in form and the lack of reserve matches proves this as he will never get In-form without them.
Back to the McFarland Rant, he has every right to have a go as well, most of the time the Centre Stand occupants are as old as the Stand itslef and the dream of any success fills them with dread, and no sooner do we have a chance of promotion it's time to press the self-destruct button, usually it's the team who operates this but now it's us the beloved supporters who can do no wrong, sadly on this occasion It's embarrassing that the manager of our club has to come on live radio and tick us off like naughty schoolboys and we should feel embarrassed. Regardless of where we stand and sit during the game we are supporters united, we stand by Roy and the Team in what they have achieved and what we are going to achieve it's imperative that we give them our full backing.
Good Luck Roy, we don't want you to resign and we are sorry that you have to feel like this to create a response.

FORZA TAARN!
