Big News today is that Kevan Hurst the Chesterfield born wideman will not be allowed to stay at Saltergate. Hurst's parent club Sheffield United have decided that they will keep the squad together and recall all of their loaned players including Jonathon Forte at Doncaster Rovers as well. Hurst has so far been a shining light at the club he supported as a boy, and of course all Spireites will wish him well for the future and that we hope to see him back at Saltergate soon.

Three of the graduates from the Youth Team last season have been released. Michael Fox, Anthony Jubb and Sam Lancaster will have there contracts paid up till the 31 December . Once again Compton Street wishes them well for the future.
