Chesterfield striker Jordan Bowery is doubtful with a hip problem that kept him out of the defeat at Rotherham.
Defenders Ian Breckin and Rob Page, midfielders Derek Niven and Dan Gray and striker Scott Boden are all fit.
Northampton Town manager Ian Sampson tells BBC Radio Northampton: "We've got a bit of belief. The way we play, and with the squad we've got, it takes a bit of time to get them playing the way we want.
"We're telling the players to work their opening rather than go direct, because we haven't got those kind of players.
"It's been a really good week for Northampton Town and it'd be nice to have more weeks like this."
