The 2005/2006 League One Fixtures were released late last week and the Spireites have been given a start away at Blackpool on August 6th.
They have to wait until the following Wednesday night to see the first home game with Brentford the visitors on August 10th.
The Spireites first Local Derby of the season is against Rotherham United and the follows the Bees match on the Saturday 13th August at Saltergate.
All Chesterfield Supporters would have kept an eye out for the trip to Nottingham Forest and that fixture has been announced for New Years Eve a 3.00pm kick off.

Latest News regards to players is that their is no news. Carlos Logan who played nine games for the Spireites at the end of the season is to join for pre-season training with a view to a permanant contract.
Olafur Ingi Skulason has opted to join Brentford rather than moving up to North Derbyshire and stop in his London based property.
Ex-Spireite Captains Mark Hudson and Steve Payne have been on the move. Hudson has joined Huddersfield Town on a two year contract and Payne has left Macclesfield and joined Northwich Victoria.
