Midweek News is always scarce in Chesterfield. This week our non-famous North Derbyshire Town hit the headlines when Abi Titmuss (non-celebrity) turned at our famous nightclub Zanzibar and was heckled to get "them" out by our finest?? What do you expect from a girl who on regular occasions does! All this at 1am after several Vodka Kick's no doubt. Ah well it beats Bernie Clifton's ostrich!

Back more serious matters, the Spireites have no real injury doubts for Saturday's trip to Vale Park. Only Carl Muggleton and Kevin Dawson have knocks that are worth worrying about.

Speaking of Port Vale I see that Mark Innes came on a sub for them last week, I wonder if Martin Foyle's ploy is to play him from the start on Saturday. Now Martin Foyle is a guy who doesn't like us, he 's mentioned on several occasions that we play thuggish brutal long-ball?? football. We shall have to see on saturday and wait for his pre and post match interviews. If they are entertaining I shall post on here.

Meanwhile mentioned on here last week Thomas Hitzlsperger is making his way to Stuttgart at the end of the season.

Released Goalkeeper Andy Richmond played for Hull City reserves twice in the past week and also Matlock Town last Saturday but I'm not sure if he played in their 2-2 draw with Whitby Town last night.
