The White Shorts are Back!

Yep there back. Next season the Spireites will be dressed out in the Royal Blue shirts with WHITE shorts and Blue Socks. Yippee the campaign has worked and we are getting rid of the dreadful Chelsea, Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Wigan look alike kits and get back to what we always wear.
A new deal with Vodka Kick has been announced for sponsoring the away strip and the colours have been announced as blue well Sky Blue to be precise and it looks OK.I preume that we will be keeping the Black strip then as third kit. Oh and TFG sports will be supplying the kit for the next three seasons as there has been cock ups all over the place for a long time with the suppliers.

On to the playing squad, Jordan Fowler our on loan midfielder from Arsenal may have played his last game for the Spireites as he has picked up another injury. We will find out over the next few days. Mark Hudson will miss saturday's game at Brentford with the groin injury he picked up last week in training and which forced him to come off after 15 minutes against Huddersfield. He was replaced by Wayne Allison who has been back in full training this week and who will be in the squad for Saturday. Adam Smith has recovered well from his Knee operation and will be entered into the squad.

Away from Saltergate, Cambridge United are holding a Fans United day at their Abbey Stadium ground, this Saturday at 3pm against Wycombe Wanderers. Details were posted on this website before. Please visit the Articles link on the main menu to left hand side.
