Rumour has sprung into gear and £100000 is being mentioned as a possible figure with the maximum at around £250000.
Saturday's game is in doubt with snow covering the Saltergate pitch with more snow showers and severe frost forecast it is unlikely that the pitch will be playable.
On the Injury front Wayne Allison and Aaron Downes are likely to be fit for inclusion to the squad, Allison limped off against Doncaster with a calf injury and Downes came off with an eye injury against Stockport. (it's a pity he didn't get it before half time).
The Compton Street won't be at Saturday's game regardless as the editor and team are away for a splendid time in a foreign country taking in another game. Photo's will be shown later next week.
