NEW CONTRACTS OFFERED FOR PLAYERS

The Chesterfield Board have offered Captain Mark Hudson and Central Defender Ian Evatt new two year contract extensions. The pair are the first in what is rumoured to be a few offers for current deals.

Hudson and Evatt are two of Chesterfield's rising stars and manager Roy Mcfarland commented "I'm delighted with the CFC Board for making these deals available, the players are now considering the offer and will give their response in the near future".

This is a bold move by the Spireites and every supporter will be delighted by this news.
