Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has sent out a warning to the rest of League Two by insisting his table-topping team can still improve. The Spireites took over at the summit courtesy of a 2-1 win at promotion rivals Wycombe on Saturday. Sheridan described the victory as Chesterfield`s best of the season so far but believes there is more to come from his players. "It was a good performance and it is nice to be top but I feel we can still improve as a team," said Sheridan. "Winning matches brings confidence and we have to win as many games as we can as quickly as possible and get ourselves in a healthy position. "We won`t be taking our foot off the pedal, we have another tough game at the weekend against Shrewsbury and my mind is set on getting another three points from that game."
