Safety was secured this week with a fantastic victory over Huddersfield, that was our first ever win there and a good performance it was too. I won't say excellent as the first half was dire but we fought back and that's now an amazing twenty three points won after being one down. We are on course now to have our best season in this tier since 98/99 when we finished with 64 points.
It will be nice to see some old faces at Saltergate this curretn weekend with former players Danny Wilson who is the Dons manager and Adie Shaw who is the coach, Wilson who posed a answer to a question at the recent Anglo Scottish Cup Reunion with "you never say never" has guided Dons to three victories in their last three games as MK look to survival which was achived last season by one point. MK Dons so far have had a wretched return for thier hard work but held the Spireites to a 0-0 draw at the "Winkle dome" earlier on in the season.
Dons will be looking to Clive Platt the former Notts County striker to get the goals after he bagged the winner against Swindon last saturday.

Dons Squad:

Baker, Lewington, Morgan, Partridge, Crooks, Smith, Chorley, Mitchell, Morais, Wilbraham, Platt, Harding, Mcleod, Edds, Taylor, Webb.

Milton Keynes Dons/Wimbledon in the home of the greatest:

04/05 L1 2-2 N'Toya, Downes
81/82 L1 2-0 Henderson, Walker
79/80 L1 0-0

Only three games since football was changed with invent of franchise football clubs, the politics of Wimbledons demise and the birth of Milton Keynes Dons has been discussed and I for one won't discuss it here, let's just say that the Spireites can only play football against other football clubs and that's that.
