Squad News:

Alan O'Hare is rated doubtful after limping off against Blackpool and Shane Nicholson is ruled out with a groin injury. Blathers and Gareth Davies are out injured, no word yet on Blather's career. Other than that no more injuries to worry about.

Manchester City lost yesterday to Blackburn Rovers 4-2 with goals from Joey Barton and an Ooijer own goal, even Trevor Sinclair put through his own goal.

Not sure what side City will put out but in their perilous league position (currently fourth bottom of the premiership with four points after five games) then Stuart Pearce may look to field a side of Sunday's Quality or Non-Quality depending how you look at it.

Nicky Weaver is likely to play after a horrific set of injuries the former Muppet Show keeper and Wednesday loanee has played since David James left for Portsmouth.

City @ Saltergate Last Five

98/99 L1 1-1 Reeves
77/78 LC 0-1
50/51 D2 1-2 Smallwood
46/47 D2 0-1
38/39 D2 0-3

As we have never beaten City anything other than a defeat is a bonus. As this is our Cup Final (copyright any alleged big club that we play) I expect us to take City to the wire and finish with a glorious defeat on penalties that the form but when has form had anything to do with Cup ties (copyright any commentator worth his salt when doing cup ties/derbies etc).

Just remember boys and girls other sides insult us when they play in yellow at Saltergate!

Larkin must start Wednesday night
