Jamal Campbell-Ryce from Charlton Athletic is to join Chesterfield on loan for one month, the Spireites have been hit with an injury situation and outside help is required.
Campbell-Ryce is a pacy wide player which is an area Chesterfield manager Roy Mcfarland is closely looking at. Mcfarland quotes " The injuries have tipped my hand slightly and I'm pleased that Jamal has agreed to join us for one month".
A body blow to the blues is the Steve Blatherwick will miss Saturday's game with tonsilitis, another doubt is Spireites captain Mark Hudson with a calf injury.
The injuries are certainly something that Chesterfield could do without as we look to get back to winning ways against table topping Colchester United on saturday.
With Kevin Dawson and Wayne Allison already out of the match new signing Aaron Downes could force his way onto the bench with Campbell-Ryce replacing Hudson in midfield. Alan O'Hare is likely to take Blatherwick's position at centre-half.
