SPIREITES URGENT PLEA TO FANS
Chesterfield is urging fans to buy their tickets by this Friday 23 February
2007 for the local-derby against Nottingham Forest to avoid being locked out on Saturday for what is being described as the league game of the season at Saltergate.
The visit of promotion chasing Nottingham Forest this Saturday 24 February
2007 has been decreed all-ticket on police advice but this means there will be no admission by paying cash through the turnstiles on the day.
No further tickets for the game will be on sale after 5.00pm this Friday when the ticket office closes. No tickets will be on sale on matchday.
Chesterfield finance director Alan Walters said: "We want all fans to be aware that just turning up on the day is not an option as a ticket must be purchased in advance by this Friday at the latest."
Alan Walters added: "Tickets for the game have been on sale for the last four weeks but some fans still seem unaware that the game is all-ticket."
Fans are also reminded that the kick-off time has also been brought forward on police advice to the earlier time of 1.00pm.
