JAMAL FOR THE MILLERS

Rother....ham?
JCR goes to Millmoor. After all that he goes and signs for a team further north than us. Fresh from selling Sedgwick to Preston and releasing Barker and sending Warne on loan to Mansfield, armed with a burning pocket Ronnie Moore pulls of a right coup by signing on a permanent deal I hasten to add Jamal Campbell-Ryce.
JCR played against the Millers earlier in the season in the League Cup and have kept close tabs on him with us during his three month loan spell.

Earlier this season Millers manager Moore tried to obtain on loan JCR's former teammate Jerome Thomas also a winger but he has now forced his way into the first team at The Valley something Campbell-Ryce could not do.

Whilst this is a blow to the Spireites hopefully this will give Adam Smith a chance to show us how much talent he has.

The Chesterfield Board pulled out all the stops to get Campbell-Ryce to the club and it looked like they had done it, but Rotherham could offer more in wages than the Spireites could.

Personally it's a shame but we move on we have Swindon to consider and our unbeaten home record. Full Team news on website tomorrow and more reaction from Saltergate.
