It's Gone and Self Destruct

He's gone back t'dark place
Rubbish was the word uttered yesterday as Shane Nicholson's corner didn't even make it to the near post before nestling near a ball boy behind Wrexham's goal and this was in the first minute. "Mcfarland what side is that" and "Stallard go back t'Barnsley" were the comments from The Away Section's Media representative. Quite why he payed £16 not including travelling expenses or beer cash to shout these insults for a full ninety minutes is beyond me. It was quite fitting then that he commented on the fact that "I've payed £16 so I can say what I like" what he doesn't understand is that we haven't payed £16 to listen to him!

But before Wrexham we had Luton Town who are the best team to come to Saltergate this season and had every right to defeat us although at the time the goal looked iffy I've had a look again and it wasn't offside.

You have to say that Carl Muggleton stopped us from getting mauled and again it was in front of a big crowd. We battled hard in that game but we never really looked like getting anything not that it would have been deserved anyway.

Back to Wrexham and we proceeded to press the old self destruct button when we looked like getting back into the game. To be fair it was a game I wasn’t looking forward to even though it’s our annual trip into Europe( joke!) I couldn’t see us getting anything. Cracking Goal from Wrexham’s Mark Jones who I was very impressed with, and it was like we just couldn’t get going coupled with sloppy defending and a missing midfield and a strike force that was Folan/Stallard then Folan/Debolla and finally Allison/Debolla so what’s the best one we need to find out quickly otherwise not one of our strikers is going to get ten goals.
