"My name is bound to be associated with Derby County as a player, coach and as a manager. I think it's speculation at this time and it's unjust and unfair of me to comment until things do happen or and wether they do happen immediately or later I'm happy at Chesterfield and it's worked for us this season."
Then Roy starts to ramble on about the East Midlands Clubs who are in severe financial plight, whilst trying to make us forget the comments that are making us alarmed slightly.
All this plus reported sightings or Mr McFarland leaving Pride Park the other day is another thing. We all know of Roy's association with Derby and of course he still lives in the City, it just would have been interesting for us to hear Roy say "I'm not bothered about the Derby Job I'm seeing out my contract here" but that didn't come yesterday or arrived so far today.
Will Roy be in North Derbyshire come Monday Morning or is it a strong rumour that Dave Penney is getting the job, just to throw another name in to the hat!
