Hughes Signs on Loan

Mark Hughes who has been training with us for a while after being released by Oldham Athletic at the end of September has been signed on loan from Thurrock. This I assume is a way of avoiding the transfer window as Hughes would not have been able to sign till January 1st and with the midfield injury problems we have then it's vital we keep him. As it is Hughes must have signed for Thurrock and then immediately loaned out to us till January, alas we have no confirmation of the date from the club so we are under the assumption.
As for what Thurrock get out of this deal heaven knows perhaps a bag of balls and £500 as was the case when we signed Andy Morris from Rotherham. Hughes is added to the Squad for Saturdays trip to Gillingham and he is eligible for Tuesday Nights Carling Cup tie against Charlton Athletic.
