Hughes Goes Back
Last updated : 04 January 2007 By Paul Fisher
Mark Hughes the midfielder who was on loan to us from Thurrock in a special kind of loan deal has not had his loan spell increased. Hughes played in three games for the Spireites and even scored one goal on his debut at Gillingham but after then his performances went down.
Hughes was never good enough to displace Niven or Allott on a regular basis so like fellow releases player last month Michael Standing is now looking for another club.
Hughes also follows fellow loanee Kevan Hurst out of the Saltergate door.
