Hazell Turns Down Contract Offer
Last updated : 08 December 2005 By Paul Fisher
Reuben Hazell has turned down his contract extension according to SKY Sports News. Hazell had been offered a further six months to his current deal which is due to run out at the end of December. Hazell signed from Kidderminster in the summer after suffering a horrific injury whilst for the Harriers. After a few sparkling performances pre-season Hazell had been made a first choice centre-back with Steve Blatherwick. Roy Mcfarland will be looking to slot either Aaron Downes or Janos Kovacs into the Back Four.
Hazell will now get the usual "Judas" chants the uneducated chant when they think that loyalty still exists in football.
