At 10am on Thursday 22 June 2006 we will find when we play Nottingham Forest,Millwall, Brighton, Doncaster Rovers and the rest.
Stupidly the season kicks off on Saturday 5th August 2006 a full two weeks before the premiership. It beggars belief that years ago the season never started till the last weekend in August, surely the 5th August is too soon, having said that Newcastle start their Intertoto Cup campaign on the 15th July.
