FIXTURE CHANGES
Chesterfield's home game against Bury, due to be played on Saturday 8 September, has been re-scheduled to avoid England's Euro 2008 qualifier against Israel. The game has been brought forward a day and will now be played at Saltergate on Friday 7 September, kick-off 7.30pm.
Meanwhile, the kick-off time for the Spireites local-derby at Saltergate against Mansfield Town has been changed on police advice. The game scheduled for Saturday 22 December 2007 will now kick-off at 1.00pm instead of 3.00pm.
Surprise that we haven't been asked to play at 9.00am as the previous ties were getting ridicoulous 10.15 am and 11.15am, just plain silly really. I know this game borders on hatred at times but a little common sense must prevail sometimes. At least it gives me time to have a jar.......possibly.
