Playing against a Notts County side who always seem to flatter to deceive, a club who flirt with danger with their finances but who seem to always find an answer at the very death, this is a dangerous approach but evidentally means that no matter what they are a reasonably well supported club. Meadow Lane holds around the 20k mark but notably has never seen this figure for a long time. Interestingly they always get a fair few at home against the unwashed but then again the unwashed are still pointing at the moon.

The Spireites on the other hand are seeing attendances plummet with an alarming rate and the most concern is that people won't come back if Lee Richardson is still manager, I think this is just an excuse not to come back ever it wouldn't matter if we had Jose Mourinho theres plenty of reasons not to come to football these days.

Onto todays game and the Spireites need to get a run going if we are to be suitable promotion candidates, a mammoth run is required having lost six already it requires belief and consistancy something which we have lacked for a number of years now, was Wednesday a turning point?
