Chesterfield defender Aaron Downes will miss the rest of the season after suffering cruciate ligament damage in his knee for the second time in a year.The 24-year-old Australian, who has made seven League Two appearances since returning to action in January, will again need surgery.
Manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield: "It's a massive blow.
"The lad's worked really hard to get back playing and it's a shame but I know he'll come back."
