Dema Glass Move for the Spireites

The Old Glassworks site next to the A61 Derby to Sheffield road, will be the next site for the Spireites new ground. Alfred Mcalpime in conjunction with the CFC Board and the Chesterfield Borough Council have gained outline planning permission for the site, this of course rules out the Spireites moving to Wheeldon Mill which CFSS members voted for nearly two years ago.
Alfred Macalpine have worked on such grounds as Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town and the plans won't run short of a stadium like these two as was the original plans drawn up to match the proposal at Wheeldon Mill.
If you think that we are calling the ground the Mcalpine Stadium you can think again!
