Debolla Released

Last updated : 05 January 2006 By Paul Fisher
Mark Debolla has been released by the Spireites, after spending christmas on loan at Notts County, Mark has been told he can find his future elsewhere having slipped down the pecking order.
The former Aston Villa forward signed initially on loan for the Spireites from Charlton Athletic in 2003 and made his debut ironically against Notts County at Saltergate. His match turned sour when he was carried off injured in the 2nd Half and he made fleeting appearances on loan the permanant during that season. The Following Season Mark got injured again and couldn't get in any form whatsoever, so really it comes as no surprise to see him released.

Speaking on the Official Website www.chesterfield-fc.co.uk Manager Roy McFarland said "As Mark has limited chances at Chesterfield we were able to come to a mutual agreementto help him build his career elsewhere and we wish him well".

Mark's Playing Career:

Aston Villa Trainee 1999-2001 Apps: 0
Charlton Athletic Youth 2001-2003 Apps: 0
Spireites Loan then Signed 2003-2006 Apps: 45 Goals: 5
Notts County Loan 2005-2006 Apps: 7 Goals: 1

We wish Mark well.

Bye Bye Mark
