Crossley remaining upbeat

He revealed that after one enforced postponement this month the Spireites are keen to face Torquay this weekend.

"We are desperate for this home game before two tough away trips to Gillingham and Bradford City," Crossley told the club`s official website.

"Realistically I think it`s 50-50 because the stadium surrounds are a real concern and there`s a lot of snow to be shifted.

"Last week we went to Holmebrook Country Park and got the lads smiling again with a bit of fun in the snow after the poor result at Burton Albion.

He added: "Looking on the bright side this snow has effected a lot of teams and the Bury match having been postponed may turn out to be a good thing."
