CRITCHELL GETS ALL CLEAR
Chesterfield defender Kyle Critchell has been given the all-clear from an eye specialist to resume training next week after being hit in the face by the ball in last weekend's game at Millwall.
The 20 year old visited a London hospital after Saturday's game, following a temporary loss of vision, and now has seen a second eye specialist in Chesterfield who has confirmed that although there is no lasting eye damage, a few more days rest is required.
Chesterfield assistant manager Lee Richardson said: "We are pleased there is no lasting damage but have been advised to rest Kyle for a few days so he will not be involved for this Saturday's home game against Port Vale."
