Spireites wait on duo
Chesterfield will check on defenders Liam Cooper and Ian Evatt ahead of their first home match of the season against Cheltenham at the Proact Stadium.
Cooper missed the opening game of the League Two campaign at Bury with a side strain but was included among the substitutes for the Capital One Cup tie at Leeds in midweek.
Fellow centre-half Evatt has yet to feature since re-signing for the club towards the end of last month as he builds up his match fitness. The 31-year-old will be captain once he is ready to feature.
The Spireites earned rave reviews for their performance at Elland Road on Wednesday night despite losing 2-1 to the Championship side, meaning the likes of Sam Togwell, Marc Richards and Jay O'Shea might have their work cut out reclaiming their places in the starting line up.
Cheltenham are confident Steve Elliott will overcome a knock.
The 34-year-old defender had to be withdrawn in extra-time of their 4-3 win over Crawley in midweek after receiving a blow to his knee but the club expect him to travel.
Byron Harrison played a vital part in the Robins' memorable comeback in midweek with two goals and the former AFC Wimbledon forward looks likely to lead the line once more.
But summer signing Jamie Cureton will be sidelined for the next month having dislocated his shoulder just seconds after opening his goalscoring account for his new club last weekend in the draw with Burton.
