Richards ready for Robins
Marc Richards is pushing for a place in the Chesterfield starting line-up when Cheltenham visit the Proact Stadium.
Richards made his long-awaited return from a hamstring injury as a 67th-minute substitute during the 2-1 home win over Oxford on Saturday.
Fellow forward Brennan Dickenson is an injury concern though. The teenager, on loan from Brighton, is nursing a foot injury following the game at the weekend.
Midfielder Mark Randall missed out against Oxford with a shin injury and remains a doubt.
Ahead of the visit of promotion-chasing Cheltenham, Spireites boss Paul Cook said: "In my opinion, Cheltenham will go up this season. They have terrific experience at this level."
Cheltenham boss Mark Yates has no fresh injury worries as his side look to bounce back from Saturday's 4-2 defeat to Rotherham.
Portuguese defender Sido Jombati missed that match after undergoing a double hernia operation and the club has confirmed the 25-year-old is likely to be sidelined for three weeks.
Keith Lowe replaced Jombati at the weekend and the defender, who opened the scoring inside a minute, was singled out by his manager for praise after an otherwise under-par display from his side.
"Keith Lowe was outstanding but apart from that I don't think too many got any positives out of the game and that's disappointing," Yates said.
Defeat at The New York Stadium ended a four-game unbeaten run that has lifted the Robins to third place in League Two.
