Brentford (A) Preview

We travel to West London on Saturday looking to improve on Tuesday night's draw at Southend. We dropped to seventh place after the 0-0 draw at Root's Hall but we are still in contention for the playoff positions.

Brentford managed to win in last-gasp fashion against Yeovil Town, Michael Turner bagging one with 2 mins to go to complete a 3-2 victory.
Martin Allen the madcap manager (copyright SKY Sports News) always provides exciting touchline activites and I wonder what he will be complaining about this time.

The Bees are undefeated since 29 October and it's included wins against the aforementioned Yeovil also Hartlepool and an impressive away win at Scunthorpe.

Brentford Squad from: Nelson,O'Connor,Turner, Sodje,Frampton, Brooker, Newman, Pratley, Tabb, Owusu, Campbell, Tillen, Rankin, Hutchinson, Gayle, Bankole.

Chesterfield 1-3 Brentford

Brentford gave us the runaround in the first home match, we nearly competed but we struggled when Downes went off injured. Brentford have been the best side to come to Saltergate all season.

He's Mad Apparently?
