Boss backs Blues to get better

Chesterfield manager John Sheridan sent out a warning to the rest of League Two by insisting that his table-topping team can still improve. The Spireites moved three points clear at the summit with a 5-2 victory over Accrington at the b2net Stadium. Sheridan insists any talk of promotion is premature and was frustrated by the manner his side conceded goals against Stanley. "It is important that I do my job and make sure nobody switches off and everyone stays focussed, said Sheridan. "There is a lot more to come, there are lots of things we can learn and try to improve on and that is what we will do. "I am confident that we will score goals but we need to work harder as a team. I see lots of things we need to do a lot better because if we don't, football is a funny game and it can change very quickly. "We certainly haven't done anything yet and it is far too early to even think about promotion."
