Big Match Review

I think the quality showed in the end, although fair play to Stockport they showed that next season they will be a decent team, it's a shame though that it's taken till now for them put up some decent performances.

But more about us, that's the way to come back, a solidish performance but a win nevertheless and another smash and grab raid.

We don't win at Stockport very often and I think that's around four in the last forty games against them. I'm really pleased for Mark Debolla (who grabbed the first) he's starting to come good and even more so for Mark Allott who now has three for the season and what a goal to score as well. Allott a former striker turned midfielder needs to score more and with goals like that in his locker then we may still see a few!

Overall I'm pleased but I must mention in defence of Aaron Downes who was a fault for the first goal, he's young he will make mistakes and to drop him might do him good as he came in for Steve Blatherwick tonight. I would expect Blatherwick to play on Saturday with Shane Nicholson suspended.
Let's see if we can beat Peterborough on Saturday and break a home record of not having won since November 27th 2004.

Mark Allott scores a Cracker!

Now that Debolla has started to fulfill the promise that we all knew he had, I would expect him to starton Saturday along with the disappointing Folan who needs a goal with N'Toya occupying a place on the bench again.
