We welcome Doncaster Rovers to Saltergate for the first time in ten years, we last played at Belle Vue though and the Spireites won 3-0 but my own personal memories of that game aren't good and I shan't name it here. The 2-0 victory over Rovers inspired Chesterfield to promotion that season hmm I wonder! Donny beat Barnsley last night 3-1 but had Ricky Ravenhill sent off for violent conduct, it would appear that getting the opposition sent off at Oakwell is something Barnsley are good at. Our 4-0 drubbing of Stockport was a delight for me as I wanted revenge for last season and Luke Beckett's comments just made us even more angry and it showed. I wouldn't imagine that Roy Mcfarland would maje any changes to the side perhaps the inclusion of Stallard on the bench for someone ooh decisions decisions. He's made changes to winning sides before mind and we have won one and lost one so I don't know. The Match is not All-Ticket for the Chesterfield supporters (which will please the federales no doubt!) remember though as this is a premium game it'll be £2 dearer on the door. PF |
