We travel to South Yorkshire this coming saturday with a decent record over the border with a 1-1 in Doncaster and a 4-0 drubbing over the millers. This time it's Barnsley's turn, last season we lost to 87th minute winner by Anthony Kay, we also had Mark Innes sent off in that match. Earlier on in the season we played Barnsley at Saltergate in what was a tepid draw 0-0, Barnsley's Tommy Wright having the better chances of both teams.
As we continue our poor home record, we aim to improve on a good away record we have seven wins away from home which is more than last season and performances haven't been too bad apart from our last outing in Swindon.
Barnsley are having an excellent season, mainly stopping within the playoff spots (something we haven't done) although they are on the verge at the moment, most tyke supporters will be asking are they good enough, some supporters are having doubts after last weekends defeat to Huddersfield.
No Team News yet for Barnsley, I will update as soon as I can.

Back to Basics for us on Saturday, we need that vital point to effectively keep us up, however if we have keystone cops defending like we did last weekend then we might as well kiss another game goodbye. Hopefully Roy Mac will start with the same line up and progress from there, we played some good stuff last weekend and we can build on that no doubt.
