Looking forward to Saturdays match it can't come soon enough I reckon. Hopefully our players will be up for it after Wednesday nights spat, take a leaf out of Rotherhams book and get into them from the off.

Saturday/Sunday Morning should be an interesting day, get up late (there is a reason for this) go the match, do the match report for the Official Website, go to the pub..then go to my mates house in time to stay awake for the Hatton boxing..then the Cricket starts sometime near then...I can see Sunday afternoon/night being a complete write-off.

Incidentally did anyone see or happen to record our Manager being interviewed on BBC Look North Breakfast or summat like that prior to Wednesday nights match?

Correspondant: "So Lee is this a real derby between the two sides considering the distance"

Lee: " Well Chesterfield is practically in South Yorkshire anyway"

WHAT?!?!??!?! does he know what he's saying? like a red rag to a bull this will upset our fans.
Now I know most footballers aren't the brightest sparks in the world but you would say that a manager was. Richardson may have all the degrees he wants in Psychology..but Geography isn't in his class then eh? Unless it was some sort of Derren Brown phenomenon with a twist of sixth sense and all that jive.....no Lee I reckon you've made a faux pas here and I doubt this one will drop. Anyway I'll be around Chesterfield, DERBYSHIRE this weekend may see you.

PS if anyone has a copy of it please email it to comptonstreet@hotmail.co.uk
