The promotion bandwagon takes its first trip to Dagenham and Redbridge and the London Borough of Barking Stadium. Our form is fleeting and so is the rumour mill. Who's coming in? Whats Rico done to who? Why is he playing? Whats happening with the ground?. Barrie Hubbard was on Radio Sheffield last night with part two this evening. Barrie went onto say nowt much really other than we are trying to get players in but they don't want to come and that we should lay off Roche, I agree with that sentiment we should never get at the players on the pitch, you can write what you like after but during the match the object is to support the team.
Spireites World this weekend will be broadcast live from Dagenham..however there is a slight twist to our journey, we are setting off tomorrow to get to Dagenham and we are going via Bolougne, France!! I've only ever stopped at a garage in France on my way to Austria Ski-ing in 1991...Compton Street will of course be covering the entire event including match, I'm driving!! viva france!! (as Del Boy likes to say).
