Injuries,Decisions & Results not going our way our confidence is brittle as the promotion push wheels start to rust and our competitors move into second gear.

Saturdays Result at Hereford was disappointing as our depleated squad limped into Edgar Street without a prayer. The plan was to defend it appeared and gain a vital point on the road to success instead because of lack of confidence in our defenders the goalkeeper hesitated and The Bulls made it 1-0 to which we had no hope of coming back. Jamie Lowry limped off injured and we bring on Chesterfield Born Lloyd Kerry on loan from Sheffield United (how many times do we have to see this?) who to be fair played like he'd made 100 appearances rather than this being his debut but it goes to show that we pin all our hopes on a young lad from Clay Cross rather than the side we have out there.

Dagenhams result at Grimsby just goes to show what we could have done last week if we hadn't of defended like rabbits caught in headlights. Our defence has played together for a number of seasons now barring Kevin Gray (who should be experienced enough) to get used to each other. O'Hare now may be made into a permanent fixture as Robertson maybe out for the season. Having said that it appears that Richardson has a "problem" with our Al and can't/won't play him I would expect Moloney and Picken to play as full backs.

The Manner which we were beaten yesterday showed what could have happened if we had attacked more, Hereford we very disappointing but they never upped the tempo as required because they never needed to, its so frustrating knowing we can play as we did in the live game against the bulls but we have a habit of defending like looneys in all sports day event.

Brentford make their way to Saltergate next week as we try to avert a run of one win in ten matches,Lee Richardson had better be aware as the fans are murmouring and clearing their throats.
